Wesley Chenault, Ph.D.
Wesley Chenault, Ph.D., is Head of Special Collections and Archives at James Branch Cabell Library at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. His prior professional experience of 15 years includes work at the Archives Division of the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History, Kenan Research Center at the Atlanta History Center, and Special Collections and Archives at Georgia State University Library. Dr. Chenault is a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA), Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference, and Society of American Archivists (SAA). His decades-long service on humanities-related boards and committees includes the editorial board of Provenance, the journal of the Society of Georgia Archivists.
