Jody L. Allen
Jody L. Allen earned her doctorate in U.S. History at The College of William & Mary. She is currently employed by the College as the Coordinator for The Lemon Project: A Journey of Reconciliation. The Project represents William & Mary’s efforts "to better understand, chronicle, and preserve the history of blacks at the College and in the community and to promote a deeper understanding of the indebtedness of the College to the work and support of its diverse neighbors." Allen, who also teaches in the history department, has research interests spanning the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries. A new member of the Learning Odysseys team, Allen enjoys the opportunity to meet participants from such wide ranging backgrounds who share a passion for history and learning.
